GP2 - Raised nose?

Hi,
Does anyone knows if there is a car set that has raised nose car
jams?  Most of the current ones have "low" nose...
        Thanks

You'd think, with all the amazing work being done on GP2 editors, that
somebody could find a way to raise all of the car noses in the game.  It
would be even better if there were a way to convert the low nose cars
into "shark nose" cars like the Benetton, Ferrari, and Ligier.  The
Williams and Mclaren, in reality and in the game, are different in the fact
that they have mid-height raised noses.  Does any knowledgable individual
out there know if any of these changes are possible?

Yep, they are possible, try visiting ....

easyweb.easynet. co.uk/~nbaker/

Its a F1GP2 web site with lots of utilities for new graphics, etc, and I
am sure I saw a utility to change the front ends too!!!!!

This is built into the coding of the game and so there would have to be a
utility to switch between low nose and high nose.
I haven't come across a utility that does this, but someone ought to do it.
After all, all the cars are high nose now and look likely to stay that way
next year 'cos of the problem of getting air onto the rear surfaces of the
car and into the high narrow sidepods they have now.  The high noses cause
less turbulence of the air from the front to the back.

Doh!! There are about three or four around. I'm using Andrzej
Barganski's editor for Win3.1, the new version is 1.1

It's all over the web, just use a search engine!

I also wanted high nosed cars.  I used Andrzej Barganski's editor, It came
up with the original names and such when I told it to extract from the
game.  I set all the cars to high nose and told it to save.  The thing
worked and I didn't have to redo all the names and paint ect..  I am one
happy camper now!  Thanks to all who helped me and sent e-mail.

        Just a few notes here...
The main reason high noses are used in F1 is to increase
downforce by increasing the front wing's surface area.  The high noses
create a HIGHER amount of drag than the low noses did, but the teams need
every bit of downforce they can get with current downsized wings.
Also, it IS possible to change noses.  I've been using
Barganski's GP2 editor without a hitch for some time now.

That is the editor I used to switch my noses to high noses.  I extracted
the information and nothing changed. I went a head and switched each teams
nose to high configuration and told it to pach the game.  When I ran the
game I did not need to re load anything: dirvers, helmets, nor cars.  All
cars had high noses.  The only glitch was that the alfa car has black wing
supports.  No problem as there is no real alfa car.  Try it anyway the
most you may have to do is to re patch the 96 carset.
