hey guys, i just started up GPL with my new computer P3-500 with 64 megs of
RAM and a 1 meg trident card. At 640 with all graphics on, it was completely
raceable, althought it wasn't the smoothest, but I can at least run around the
track. Now all I need is a sound card, anybody feel like donating? :)

jeez... You have a P3-500 and such a ***vid card?
Man, there are P2-166's performing far better as your system all because
they have a good, or a decent videocard...

I had a P1-166 mhz. With the same video card plus a voodoo 1, the
performance is nowhere close to P3 with the trident card alone :P At least I
can get some laps in through the demo

You should have bought a celeron 366 and a Voodoo3 2000, would have cost
about the same, and it would have been WAY better!

I said a P-166 with a decent or a good vid card... no Voodoo1 :)

P2 166? Why do people always make these dumb mistakes about PII CPU speeds?
Pentium 2s start at 233mhz
