OK guys I need some help please.... my friend bought me an F1 manager game
for my birthday and it needs Win95 or MS-DOS - trouble is I have XP home
with Service Pack 1 and compatibility mode doesnt work - and all I get is
the intro and a buzzing noise, then nothing!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make the damn thing work? It
sounds really cool!

TIA

Could be a sound issue.  Give this a try:

go to www.ntcompatible.com it has a list of most games that work with
nt/2k/xp and the workarounds. VDMsound is well wortha try, I've got more old
dos games working with sound in 2k than I ever could with 98 or ME.

Good Luck
