If I remember correctly, I think N3 and GPL had a shift+R combo or something
like that.
I know, I know...It's the wus's way out of a bad start. My excuse is that
I'm forced to use an inaccurate wheel right now, and the frame rate seems to
drop significantly for a few seconds at the green flag (hence less control).
I assure you my head is lowered in shame as I ask this.

Haven't tried it myself, but if you exit after you qualify you should
be asked if you want to save the race weekend.
You should then be able to load it and re-start the race.
Would mean pre-empting a bad start, but for me it's a given. ;)

I wish that feature was in N4 as well - It takes too long to have to
reload the track that advance up to race =P

(yer not alone!)
correct gpl had shift r which allowed the car to be reset. But to RESTART
the race...you had to exit.
