Have installed the latest patch? v1.72 I think it is. The longer
roadcourses weren't supported by the original release. Once you've patched
it it 'should' work.
Also Heat generates a huge error log when it crashes. scan down the
screen til you find a line that starts with:(it's way down the list.)
Panic: can't__________
copy that part and post it here. It will have a short explanation of why
the game crashed instead of the blank
