Remember to put it back to Waveout after that, or else you'll always be
converting your MP3 to Wav's the next time you use Winamp (and they take
awful lot of space of course).

You can use LAME with the -extract option I think to change it to a perfect
WAV. Since lame is free ware, and quite frankly, kicks the ass out of
everything, I'd say it's a good way to go.

I'd love to be more precise about how to use msconfig but I'm at work on
Win2K and it's different.
