Welcome to the NHRA Off-Line Racing League! This ranking system tracks
the performance of the world's fastest sim-racers. Tantrum
Entertainment, Inc. is accepting entries for the categories of fastest
ET and speed for both the Top Fuel Dragster and the Nitro Funny Car
classes. Reaction time rankings will also be posted. The top twenty in
each area will be posted weekly. Each month, the number #1 performer in
each class will be featured on the Tantrum Entertainment home page.
Ranking will begin in early February, 1999 so get
those entries to us!
The NHRA Off-Line League is also home of the ".400 Club". Racers that
record and send us a perfect .400 reaction time will
carve their place in NHRA sim-history as a charter member. Only 20
sim-racers will receive this honor in 1999. Members of
the this exclusive group will receive an NHRA T-Shirt from Sport
Service, Inc.
Question & Answer:
Q: What do I need to play?
A: You simply need a copy of "NHRA Drag Racing" for PC-CD-ROM. You must
also
download the new patch version 1.03 to submit entries. This file can be
downloaded
from the support page of this site. Runs made with the older version
will not be accepted
as there has been a change in the performance for both rail and funny
car. Just fill out the
registration form & start racing! After you read the rest of the rules,
just click on Racer
Registration at the bottom of this page.
Q: How do I enter for fastest ET?
A: All ET entries must be recorded in the "Full" skill level within the
game
while running in "season" mode. Once you have run what you consider to
be a record
time, select the "save" button on your "results" screen. Save a game
with the following
filename: "ET-Your Last Name". This will create a .game file. Once
this is done,
simply email this file to us to enter. Please note that the race file
will only record
your last race, so make sure you save your game when you feel you have
recorded
a record time. Your race file should be located in the following
directory:
C:/Program Files/Tantrum Entertainment/Nhra Drag Racing/Saved Races on
your hard drive.
Q: How do I enter for fastest speed?

race or skill level, select the "Save" game function on your "Results"
screen. Save a game with the following filename: "RT-Your Last Name".

RT.Your race file should be located in the following directory:

Q: Why do you have to run records in the "Full/Season" modes?
A: These modes insure that the players skill as both a driver and a
tuner will determine record setting performances. You must
tune your own race car at this level as well as deal with changing track
and weather conditions. This is the way the "big boys and
girls" of the NHRA have to do things, so it is only fitting that the
ranking system follows this path.
*In the event of a tie in the ET or Speed categories, the Reaction Time
of the run will
be used as a tie-breaker.
*All entries must meet the criteria listed above for consideration.
