Dave,
What do you mean exactly by "copy the car to an untainted car image".Do
you mean copy it OVER an existing car image?.Please explain in more
detail..thanks......Chuck

Copy just your car image, not the pink area surrounding it, or the color
splash at the bottom. Now paste it over the car of a freshly exported (i.e.
"untainted") car image and save the whole thing back as "xt_playe.pcx" or
whatever file it was you were working on. This should fix the "Corrupted
palette" problem.

I've updated my car painting tips on the website to include some further
info on NASCAR 2, including how to get your image into the Driver Info
screen.

Dave,
Thanks a MILLION!!! that palette problem was driving me nuts..the more of
us who are willing to paint..the faster we can get AND share all the
updated cars! Now..it's off to do the 2 Cartoon network cars!!! I'll post
them when I'm done...
