Experiences with Australian-made wheels?

by Lomceva » Tue, 30 Dec 1997 04:00:00

Hi,

Can any Australians out there advise on the quality and features of the
Advantage 1 wheel be Ferrao Design?

If anyone in Australia has purchased the F1 Sim wheel through the Oz
agent, do also inform of the price.

Thanks,

Stanley

I own and have sold the Advantage 1 which retails for $399.00 AUD. It is
extremely sturdy and precise. The wheel and pedals have good resistance
and it gets very good reviews. I have owned the Thrustmaster GP1 and can
honestly say that the A1 is miles ahead.

Haven't heard of that one in Oz, but have you seen a Hyper Stimulator by
Jon Crooke. Best wheel I've ever driven, wheel and pedals feel absolutely
perfect. Big bucks though, around $600 for the desktop model another $300
for programmable buttons on the wheel, which is a leather MOMO of
course....
