Thanks for your response. Howver, I have found the problem. It turns out
that I was not rotating the spec pot for the brake pedal 90 degerees as I was
installing it (as required by the instructions). In effect, it was "out of
range"
This is my first experience with these spec pots, and IMO they are worth the
extra cash. -- VERY precise handling.
I also found that of all the driving sims I have, the one most tolerant of
pots that are going bad was GPL (surprisingly). With my old pots, I could no
longer calibrate ICR2, GP2, MGPRS2, F1RS, etc., even though I could still
calibrate in the Windows Control Panel, and in GPL. It was driving me nuts,
because only GPL had no problem. As soon as I changed the pots, I was able to
calibrate in all of my sims.
So, for anyone who's having problems calibrating in some sims, but not in
others, change those pots!
