Hi All,
The GPLSF are proud to announce the availability of 2 new dashboards for the
screaming Eagle!
These dashes are based on the default GPL dash and the source photo
posted......we will shortly be producing an Eagle dash based on the
well-known Motorsport magazine photos....stay tuned.

Looking great, but why are the dials turned a couple of degrees?

Which dash are you referring to? (Eagle 1 or 2)

Isn't it standard practice in race cars to turn the rev gauge so
that shifting rpm is at 12 o'clock?

Yes it is. And every other gauge is normally turned so that normal reading
is striaght up at 12 o'clock as well.

The driver during a race dosn't need to know, or care about specific
numbers. All he wants to do is make a quick glance and that everything is
ok. Rotating the gauges allows this to be done in a fraction of a second.
This is the reason it has taken digital readouts to become popular, they
have been less amenable to this.
