He's within the rules.
It takes 30% more effort to drive solo than it does to draft behind another
cyclist. You don't have a chance if you just take off early on your own.
Some are sprinters, some are climbers, and some are a combination. There's a
ton of racing tactics going on within the pack.
CART isn't very popular.

I partially agree. McGrath owned Supercross for like 7 years, but only
dominated in the Nationals for a couple of years.
During McGraths SX reign, Doug Henry, Jeff Emig and Greg Albertyn won
National championships. Heck, McGrath even stopped riding the Nats.
I consider the Nats "true" motocross, so while I respect his record, I
don't consider him ***. In fact, when I read he had a SX only
contract, I actually thought it was kind of lame.
