RASF1 Results - Congrats Neil Charlton!

1st        Neil Charlton
2nd       Josh Boudreau
3rd        me
4th        David Fisher

Great drive Neil... very consistent where the rest of us had some off-track
excursions. I thought David was going to run away with it but he chose a
1-stop strategy which cost him dearly when the rest of us fueled for the
entire 27 lap race.

Even though only 4 of us showed up we had a blast cuz all were very close in
lap times. I Q'd 2nd... took first in T1, then spun out at end of first lap
and dropped to 4th. Fought my way back to second and was challenging Neil
for the lead when I spun again... hung on for 3rd place.

Glad we had a chance to run the full race at Suzuka after last weeks fiasco.
That track is challenging and very rewarding when you get it right.

Thanks again guys... see you next time.

Spud.

My system is rapidly decaying from prolonged heating...I'll have a new
setup by midweek, hopefully I'll be able to stay online without
lockups..things were so bad this morning, I didn't even try to log
on..catchya at another round.

Thanks Spud -that's my first F1C. I must admit though I had the wing too low
for 130R and had a 'minor indiscretion' which would have cost me a pit stop
if not for the invulnerability ;)

Me too - I was*** on to him for dear life and I thought he'd cruise it.
Boy was I pleased to see him pit :)

It was really close throughout - great fun. Now we just need a few more guys
....

cya next time

I didn't realize we would be running with invulnerability on during the race
until right before the race started. I should of added fuel as soon as you
guys mentioned it, but I screwed up. No reason to pit with invulnerability
on. I do agree it's better to have it on though.

Really fun race though. Some close racing on a course that's a blast to
drive. Felt and looked like real F1 at times. I doubt I'll be able to race
Imola though, and I was really looking forward to it too.  :-(

Those first 14 laps were a blast. :-)
