I just saw a nice jpg file of a GPL ferarri on it's side, and I thought it
would be fun to try it out, so, made 2 screenshot-pbf- files, ran them thru
the pbf2tga.exe file to get 2 tga files, and them tried to open these in
Microsoft Paint...no go.....tried a program from an Epson digital camera
which I use to edit/alter image files, this program says it recognizes
tga(Targa?) files.....no go....error message only, so, what are you folks
doing to actually see your screenshots? Is there some way to save the tga's
as jpg's? I'm sure that this question has been beat to death elsewhere, but
I'm basically clueless at this point......By the way, I started this little
project by RTFM's provided w/GPL, and the read-me......I'm still clueless.
TIA,Ed

Search for Graphic Workshop Professional on www.tucows.com

Excellent program that converts all types that you mention into
other types of graphics.

The box said "Windows 95 or better", so I installed LINUX!

Hmmm.....what gives here? I've not experienced the same difficulties. I run a
pbf through the converter, then retrieve the tga file from Microsh*t Paint.
Open paint, select edit, then paste from, then choose your tga file from your
GPL directory. Works for me every time. While in paint, clicking on file, then
save as, will allow you to convert the file to a jpeg. I can also view tga
files in Micro Photo Editor.

FWIW,
