I'm looking for info about a simulator I read about. It's huge- real race
seat, real race steering wheel, pedals, hand-built chassis. Anyone know
about such a thing?

Reuben,
What you are describing sounds very muck like what I saw
advertised with my Thrustmaster T1.  It was some guy in
Kentucky, if my memory serves me right, seeling these things
out of his home.  You might want to contact Thrustmaster for
more information since they were packing the flyer for these
devices with the T1 Wheel/Pedal sets.

Steve, one of the guys here at The Pits, built a 1:1 scale F1***pit
about 3 years ago for F1GP.

Pretty cool fun.

We were considering adding movement to simulate squat, dive and roll.

Sadly our budget run out...

Check PC Gamer (February Issue) Page 94.  It's called Pc steering wheel.
(602)899 0499.  It may be what you are referring to.
