Howdy ICR1 folks,

I know there's still some folks out there who use ICR1 so let's see some
times at Nazareth (being that's where the race is this weekend and I'll
be checking for passes to get into the pits at gate 13, PSYCHED!).
I did a 153.790 last night at Nazareth. Any other times out there?

My best is a 168.096 mph.  There's more to come though.  I'm using a game
pad and because it is non-linear I scrub off too much speed in the
corners.

Get rid of some of that wing Joe!

Well, I am not sure if we are talking about the same track, but I
think I did a 177 mph lap in Nazareth. The computer cars are around
180 mph I think. By the way, any setup tips/cars/engine to choose for
Nazareth? I seem to be stuck for this track...
I tried low downforce setups but I couldn't handle them. With my own
setups I never have to lift. Would lower downforce setups improve the
times?

Greetings,

Rob.

Yeh, I just went from no car damage to car damage so I've been using lots
o wing to give me better control for now. I guess I'm paranoid about
crashing and having to use the ole "A" button. It looks like 168.096 is
the time to beat.

Catch you later.

I take that back, it looks like 177 is the time to beat.

Yep, and I guess it could be quicker if I figured out how to do a good
qualifying run, my times are usually better in practise.
If I set the wings to 9.50 and 7.00 I get my best times. This still means
the car will go through the corners flatout. If I set the wings much lower
than this I find the car undrivable, or is that just me?
Also, I use the Penske93-Ford combination. I found the Buick engine
interesting and easy to drive and the times were not far off the best
times with the other chassis.
Does anyone know at which track the Buick engines are the most effective
in ICR1?

Greetings,

Rob.

My best was something like 181.2-181.4... just use low wings ;)
