** TSP Site Merger **

by Marc J. Nelso » Sat, 17 Oct 1998 04:00:00

Friends,

The Sim Project will soon be merging with another large site, and will
also be using a new
URL.  The current simproject.com will be active for another week, but
afterwhich will no
longer be available.  The pages are currently being moved to the new
server, and will be
available soon.  News of the merger will follow shortly, but I can say
that both TSP and
the other site will retain their respective identities.

The purpose of the new site is to make more items available in one
location without any
overlapping, as well as creating some new sections to better serve ALL
your simulation
and arcade needs.

Thanks to all for the wonderful support!  =)

Cheers!

Rumor control mode on:
TSP is merging with CART!!!  TSP is merging with CART!!!  AWESOME!!!
Waaaaayyy to go!!!!  This is great news!  So, like, does this mean you'll
be working on CART II?

Rumor control mode off:

Next we know, you'll be hiring Tony Johns, just so you have a Tony in
the organization...and building a new speedway in Long Beach called
"Indy West International Motor Speedway"....;]

Cheers!

** TSP Site Merger **

As guessed by Bob, the other site that is merging with TSP is Sim
***world.  And I for one cannot wait to get to a faster server. :)

Since Sim ***world has a great deal of files to move SC will remain
active at it's old site for the next few weeks yet while we work on the
transfer.  We will be moving the site section by section with the most
current sections (ie GPL, Nascar 2) being moved first.

I'd like to thank everyone for their support in the past and certainly
look forward to it in the future.
