Had F1rs for 6 weeks now-finally plucked up the courage to move up to
professional level-all driving aids off,manual gears-driving a forti-this game
rocks!!(even in a forti)
Tremendous feeling of driving a high powered racing car-awesome sense of
control, but particularly the feel of feathering the throttle and dabbing the
brakes.I then went back to f1gp2 and sadly felt that Sir Geoff has got his work
cut out to compete with F1RS (if only they could speed up the menus)
What alarms me is as we all gradually get 3D cards will the next F1GP3's
minimum requirements be 64mb of ram, pentium 233 and 4 gb hard drive?!
F1GP2 could really do with a 3D update-it runs slow on my 166mmx and isn't much
better on a 200.When you first drive F1RS the sensation of speed is superb.
I loved F1GP on the Amiga, and really enjoyed F1GP2 on the PC-just hope Geoff
will ensure that GP3 will not require a pentagon size PC to work at it's best.
P.S.Is it just me but is TOCA rather disappointing after a few
weeks-particularly the graphics and AI?
