So, can you race a PATCHED version online against an UNPATCHED version?
I've been bit by that 2 or 3 times so far in other games.

Nope -- no can do.  The patched version of DTR is incompatible with the
unpatched DTR server.  If you have a patched version and try to join an
unpatched server, it won't let you join.

    Will it return any kind of an error so I'll know that's why I can't
join?  Sorry for any stupid questions, but I'm new to the DTR online stuff.
All I've really done is TEN and N3.

Hi All, just on this compatability question I've only got the demo version,
I get this different version msg when I try to join online races? is this
because I have the demo & they have the full version? Also the game hasen't
been released here in Australia yet :-(.  If I purchase the Aussie version
will it be compatable with the USA version so I can still race online.
