F12k2: Wet weather bug?

Did anyone ever figure out what was causing the wet weather on a dry
track?
I was attempting to learn Malaysia, got online, started bringing down my
times and just after setting my pb...I ended up disco'd.  So I went offline
without restarting the sim.  Loaded Sepang again and immeadiately spun off.
Once a Jordan went by I figured out why...the water plumes off his tires
showed the track was wet and it drove at least like it was damp.   Yet the
sky was clear, and the forcast called for dry with expected dry conditions.
The online session was dry too so I don't think this was cached wet
graphics...  hmmmm

Yeah, there's no doubt that GP4 is superior when it comes to varied weather.
The weather forecast thing seems pretty reliable.

I haven't experienced that particular problem though...
