Theres only one problem which i cannot solve:

My ECCI is on permanent split axis.So the brake is configured as "rudder
Control" on a seperate axis.

No problem with all Papy sims, but a problem with nearly all other sims. Why?

When the brake is released, the red bar in Windows calibration Test screen is
full. Its going down when the brake is pressed.A lot of sims recognize the
seperate axis,but the dont differ between a + / - .So what happens is,that
these sims see my break pressed while its released and the other way round.

So,what i need to do is to reverse the values of my brake pot.I didnt find
a software solution til now.

One day i just switched the cables on the pot,but that did not help.

Are there any other ECCI / TSW users around who have discovered the same
problem?

With my CDS4000 I'm having exactly the same problem when using separate axes
for gas and brake. Gladly, I can switch to single axis, which doesn't give
me any problems.

Haven't found a solution for the split axis problem yet, but then again: I
haven't mailed ECCI about it. I suggest you do just that, I'm perfectly sure
they'll be able to solve it. They solve every problem, after all.

Hi Joeri,

I have mailed John about this problem, but he couldnt help me.He suggested
to install the CDS to CDS4000 wiring upgrade.

Hmm that's weird, since I have the same problem with my CDS4000, so in dual
axis mode I guess your problem would not be solved with the upgrade.

Hmm I just saw that in a mail you wrote me on July 9, this year, you told
that you'd just ordered this upgrade from John? Cancelled the order? :-)

Hi Joeri,

yep ... cancelled the order as I was about to buy a MOMO as "2nd wheel" ..
;)

Johns suggestion was to upgrade and to use linked asis then for these sims.

I'm not a ECCI / TSW user, but I've done my share of pot wiring.

On your brake pot are there three terminals, of which only two are in use?

When you switched the cables, do you reconnect to the exact same two
terminals?

If you answered yes to both questions, you probably need to connect to the
currently unused terminal with one of the wires.

You will have a 50/50 chance of that getting the right wire.  If you pick
the wrong wire to change what should happen is a consistant pedal reading no
matter how far the pedal is pressed.
