Please excuse my ignorance, but this sim has only just been released (15th.
December) Down Here and I bought it yesterday.

I am curious about these short, club-type, tracks; sections of the
full-length circuit.
Are these for real?
Do these little mickey-mouse things exist in the real world or is it just
the sim developer using poetic license?
Does that horrible little chicane really occur after the Parabola at Monza?

Which leads me to another question...........have any add-on circuits been
created yet for GTL?

Thanks in advance.

Well, for sure there are various club circuits at Silverstone, so it
wouldn't be too hard to think that other venues had them. For me
anyway, it's hit or miss as far as these circuits go. Some of the
tracks which are club types are quite good, whereas other are to be
missed. For example, the MagnyCours circuit which skips the "infield"
section and basically runs around the perimeter is a lot of fun. Most
of the Hockenheim versions aren't too bad either.

But the Monza and Nurby club track are pretty bad. Too short (although
aside from the Chicane, Monza is "fair") for my tastes, but probably
designed for the low powered cars, so as not to have 3:00 laps at these
tracks.

Okay, thanks for your comments and opinions, but they haven't answered my
questions. :)

Okay....

Try these:

Can't comment on the chicane.

No addon tracks released.

Enjoy!

Sorry, for some reason the webiste only shows the links up to the
country in question. Simply locate the name of the track you seek
(Magny Cours, Nurby & Monza in this case) and then click on the
different track configs below the image.

Thank you for those links.
Yes, the short circuits as provided in GTL are certainly true-to-life.
