Hi i know i shouldnt post on here about graphic card upgrades but ......
I have a AGP Radeon 9800pro at moment and have been thinking about upgrading
whole system to PCIExp
but my local shop is selling AGP ASUS GeForce 6800 for 120 ,will i notice
much gain in performance over my old card or shall i go PCI exp for 600.(
Motherboard etc).

A lot depends on the rest of your system, but all things equal, you should
see some increase in performance.

Depends on your processor.  If your processor is getting flogged, a better
video card won't help.

Do you mean GeForce 6800 or GeForce  6800GT ?

If it is the GT, then I can tell you that you will pick up some performance
over the 9800, and get rid of a few ATI driver issues as well :)
Staggering?  No.  Improvement?  Yes.

Again, it's dependent on your CPU.

While adding an entirely new set of issues with the GF ;)


 and get rid of a few ATI driver issues as well :)

Nvidia is supposed to be releasing AGP versions of 7800 GS soon.I have a
9700 and might try to hang out until they drop in price.Not ready for PCI E
