OT& FWIW: Replacing-Repairing TM Products

Hola` All, {FWIW}
I have seen in the past few months many or maybe several posts on
"How Bad! Guillemot aka Thrustmaster" is on repair or replacing of
parts on their products!
Well I purchased their 'Ferrari FF Wheel' in Sept of 2000 & after I
beat the "Pee" out of my Ferrari FF wheel it went poof. I called the
800# on the 'Guillemot' site & the tech-support guy gave 2 choices.
They would send me the parts to fix it or I send my badly burnt'out
wheel up to get a new one! Yes! A New One!!
So I sent it out April 24th {last week} & just got a brand new one
{yummy<g>} today May 3rd. Now for all who have problems via
'Thrustmaster aka Guillemot' if you get on the phone, give them all
the info they ask for, you'll get a verification #, a RMA# if needed,
follow'up v/ your email address. Then send your item out and you
will get back parts or a new Thrustmaster product fast!! Fact!!
Of course if it is out of 'warranty' well that is another story but all
parts are basically available.... Even for many of the older wheels
& joysticks as I asked. Just some Fyi from a grinning TM buyer!
