Ferrari wheel and live in Europe, and you've tried to get the new
replacement paddle shifters, then you may have been told by Mr. Petersen,
Support Manager of Guillemot Nordic, that the information on
www.slottweak.com is a "hoax", thereby calling me a liar. There's is more
about this in the "News for July 20" on the site, and I've also posted
pictures of the new paddles.
This also brings up the issue of common sense. I'm referring to parts of
some correspondence I've been sent. If someone asks for a replacement
paddle, why bother asking which one is broken? The part probably cost 10
cents, and the shipping in Europe is probably $1.50 for either 1 or 2
paddles. If one broke, the other will almost certainly break as well. Why
not save the customer some frustration and save the company another $1.50
and just send both paddles to begin with? And for heaven's sake, don't
forget to include the little *** sticky pads. Gee, is everybody reading
Logitech's handbook on customer service? I sometimes find myself awestruck
by the apparent lack of common sense. Ah, never mind. I give up.
