PMFJI, but I know that some PB computers have a fixed cache. Someone I
know had a P100 with - get this - 16KB cache.  Fixed!! No way to upgrade
to the standard 256 or 512K!  That was his bottleneck, once he went to a
motherboard with more cache memory. Just my two cents. Unfortunately,
I'm jumping in late here, so I don't really know the full story. Sorry
if it's not relevant or repetitive.
