N3 chassis question

by Zoll » Mon, 10 Jan 2000 04:00:00

Hi,

just d/loaded some setups for the 'Ford' chassis.
Could someone help me, because I don't remember which 'real life' chassis
replaced the original #1,2,3 in N3?
One should be quite neutral, the others more pushy and loose, but I don't
know, which makes replaced which original chassis.
I'm using the 'Pontiac' chassis and also would like to know, how to adapt
the 'Ford' setup to it (guess by altering the front-rear weight
distribution?).

TIA
Zolli

I remembered your post from some time ago while looking thru readme files.
Here is the excerpt from the readme in the nr3 directory on the N3 cd.

CHASSIS SELECTION

NASCAR? Racing 3 allows you to choose from three different chassis types:

Car Chassis 1:  Balanced for slightly less rear downforce
Car Chassis 2:  Neutral
Car Chassis 3:  Balanced for slightly more rear downforce

Hope this helps
