Mandrake 9.1 iso's?
I've been trying since TUESDAY (I kid not) and still can't get them
(Overloaded servers & Mirrors)
So if you have them I wouldn't mind burning a copy, time to remember what a
REAL OS is like ;)
BTW: If you want to see a REAL *REAL* Hard mans OS, go look up the Gentoo
Linux distro, by the originator of Mandrake, more purist than Debian - you
have to be as hard as nails to use/install, get this: ALL installation
included OS install is done from SOURCE! - No binaries for you! Nope, if you
want to install something you HAVE to do it from the soource and
self-compile, the idea being that EVERYTHING you run is optimized by the
compiler for *your* set-up, sounds sweet and tempting, but I gotta get back
up to speed first with Mandrake & my 9.0 disk is corrupted :(
Catch you later,
Alan.
