The setup is kinda slippery in that it could be hard to judge your entry
speed. My advice is to lift and start braking as soon as the pavement
darkens as you approach a turn. Don't over-do it on the brakes or
you'll burn the right front up WAY before it should be.
As you exit a turn, don't get e***d and just mash the gas. Accelerate
smooth into the throttle.
If you feel yourself going to fast into a turn, by all means downshift
to 3rd and let the transmission help you point the car in the right
dircetion.
Sudden movements of the week, or braking too hard in a turn that result
in a spin/slide will be hard/difficult/near impoosible to recover from.
I shift in the last turn because it's flat and the car needs help
decelerating.
Remember the lessons you learned in GPL - smooth on, smooth off. The
more control you have as you enter a turn is rewarded by a faster (and
more controlled) exit from that turn.
