How to play NFS3 ???

by Janu » Thu, 01 Oct 1998 04:00:00

Hi,

I just borrowed the game from my friend and spent
quite some time on it, it's a blast !  It's very fun to play
hot pursuit with two players :)

Anyway, I have some questions about the single player
games in order to get bonus cars and track(s) ???

I finished all the tracks in Hot Pursuit using a Corvette and
against agressive class B computer opponent, traffic is on,
track number set to 2, but I didn't get any bonus car ?

I guess my question is for all the single player games, do I
have to use class A car to compete with class A cars in order
to get bonus cars and track ?

BTW, is there a FAQ for NFS3 yet ?

Thanks
Janus

You can unlock things on the BEGINNER LEVEL.

Winning the Knockout on beginner gets you the EMPIRE CITY track
Winning HOT PURSUIT (aka becoming Most Wanted) gets you the El Nino Pursuit car
- which is a rocket but handles so bad it's virtually worthless.

I'm still working on the Tournament Beginner then I have to go replay everything
in Expert.

Not sure if you get rewards for night, reverse, and mirror mode races.

NFS3 yet ?
Here's one for the Playstation version.  It has not been updated in quite
awhile , either.  Anyways, it may answer a few questions for you.

Hehe, there's always a walk down to the local store and exchanging
thirty bucks for a copy of the game. <arf, arf>
