NASCAR camber - all four wheels??

Hey folks: remember the file "carsetup.wri" that was discussed here briefly
a few months ago?  For those who don't know, that document contains a
(IMHO) too-generic-to-be-useful description of setting up your car in NASCAR,
and includes a demonstration setup for the Atlanta track.

Anyway, our racing series (between my brother and I) has finally reached
the Atlanta track, and I was looking at that file.  To sum up, the sample
car setup shows a camber setting for *all four* tires!  However, as far as
I know, NASCAR only lets you set camber for the right front and left front -
at least my version does anyway.  What's the deal?  Is this maybe a difference
between the USA version and the European version or something?

Exactly - so why does this guy's Atlanta setups include settings for camber
on the left rear and right rear???  That's what I'm trying to figure out...

maybe so but in the real world the teams build axles
with a bit of postive camber for certian tracks.  this is
done by welding the axle tube at the desired angle.
up to about 4 degrees...  rules allow it too.

Actually, if you look at the utility he was using for the article, it was
showsetting v2.0 which was originally designed for Indy Car Racing in which
you can change all four cambers.  The author of the utility didn't change the
display to adapt for NASCAR and that's why you can get a reading of the rear
cambers even though you can't change them.
