Help me please!

This question is off-topic I know, but can anybody explain the difference
between an SDIMM and an SDIMM PC100 ?
If you can't explain the difference, perhaps you could direct me to a more
relevant newsgroup where I might get an answer?

Oh yeah, I just got a new soundcard, anyone know if GPL will support 3D
sound? after playing unreal with 3d sound I know I'll be VERY dissapointed
if I have to revert to plain old stereo :)

Thanks for any help

Hi Steve

Tech difference, not a clue

Practical difference, the ones marked PC100 are certified to work with
100 mhz bus-speeds, great huh, until you learn that not all PC100 ram
will work reliable at 100 mhz, and there is plenty of standard sdimm`s
that will run reliable at 100 mhz, confused yet ? I know I am

But, if the ones marked PC100 doesn`t work at 100 mhz, you can at least
take them back to the store, hope this helps

Beers and cheers
