I remember the day I told my friend to try the demo.  He came in the next
day and said everyone looked like a target while he was driving in! :)

Later,

Well.. I happen to drive a 500 HP Shelby Cobra "REPLICA" and the local
constable did not appreciate my demonstration of how to enter and exit a
particularly *** curve. I am "usually" fairly conservative when driving
this car because both its "roar" and red Porsche with white stripes color
scheme seem to be a summons magnet. But after playing GPL, I just sorta lost
my head...Go Figure...LOL

Hmmm. Saturday, I rolled *** the gas -- as is my habit here --
coming off a particularly tight hair-pin on-ramp (I294 W from I290 E at
North Ave., near Chicago). The nose pushed a smidge as the speed came
up, and without thinking I lifted sharply a little before rolling it
back on. Now, I've driven this ramp daily for the past three years,
probably taking precisely the same line the last 500 or so times. I've
never been conscious of needing to settle the nose here. I wonder if
this time the nose really had wandered too far, or if GPL "reflexes"
interfered with reality. I'll never know. Either way, the nose jerked
down and back on line, and I blasted my way into midday traffic. All
this did was interrupt the consummate smoothness of the journey, I
think. (Oh, and the car's no slouch either: a 96 Cobra, 305 hp of silk.
Not as nice as the Shelby, though.)

Michael.

I use GPL to practice my reflexes for my race car (see link below), not
quite as much hp (160) but it only weighs 950lbs with driver.
