So what?

Which alternative do you prefer: 4xAA at playable speeds in modern games, or
better 4xAA at non-playable speeds in modern games.

good point Dan

I used to hate 3DFX when they started the "PR" ***
instead of working.......".no AGP , no more than 16mb
etc"

but after looking at their V5 AA shots
man, i sure hope someone / somewhere
have a cheap V5 for sale.

since Nvidia already owns the patents to 3DFX
shouldn't Nvidia AA  be better ?
I can only assume that Nvidia purchase is  not
to use 3DFX but prevent rivals from using 3DFX's
patents.

anycase good news from Nvidia GF4 means
now I have the budget for GF3..................
