I was wondering if anyone else out there found the Lotus 49 in Grand Prix
Legends to be too light of a green. What is it, WinMIP? The utility I use
to repaint a car? I suppose I would extract LOTUS.DAT, and use WinMIP to
convert the car's textures (Hill's, Clark's, and the player's) to a editable
image? Does anyone have good experience using this?
Thanks for any help, and how's a 1:08.09 at the Glen? On my 10th lap ever,
and I hadn't even raced in the demo (had Windows 98, and somehow missed all
the "this-is-how-to-get-it-to-work-in-Windows-98" help. Although, it was
after running about 20 laps at Monza to get me confortable with the Lotus
(in all its lime green glory). But I do love the Glen. I have the replay
for anyone interested. It's using the default setup with a few camber and
tire pressure modifications. Next to the differential, the tires are the
most important thing to helping you corner quickly and with minimal hassle.
