According to NASCAR Online, Winston Cup veteran Tim Flock has been
diagnosed with terminal cancer at age 73.  Flock is a two time Winston
Cup champion, in 1952 & 1955 and a winner of 40 WC races.
Tim Flock is a wonderfull ambasador for the sport.  I and my
grandfather recently met and spoke at length with Tim at the Winston
Cup preview.  He is a class act, and a great gentleman.

If I recall correctly, Tim Flock won the very first NASCAR "official" race
at the old C***te Speedway. Truly a great loss for the NASCAR family...
