I bought it for a dollar. I can't get it to run on my system, is this because
I have Direct X 6.1?

Should run fine with DirectX 6.1. I've run it on Win95 and Win98 machines
with no prob. Check out my site for more info -- could be your video
driver:

It's not a bad sim, once you get it running. LMK what it's doing (or not
doing) and I'll see if I can help.
