Off-topic Linux/Rendition Question

by Jeff Vince » Tue, 05 Jan 1999 04:00:00

I have a Hercules Thriller 3D 8meg AGP (Rendition V2200) in my main
computer and an Intergraph Reactor (V1000) in another.  I've been
thinking of trying Red Hat Linux 5.2.  According to the Red Hat web
pages, it doesn't list video support for the Hercules Thriller and
explicitly says *no support* for the V1000 cards.

So I'm wondering if it is possible to use Red Hat (or maybe another
flavor of Linux, although I prefer an easy install and set-up) with
these Rendition cards.

Thanks in advance for any info, probably email would be the best.
