I thought the game was done. Why haven't I seen it at the stores yet? Did
it get postponed again?

My local EB said that it was going to be out August 3rd (Monday). I got on
the reserve list for it anyway. Been waiting for it since they said it was
going to be released in January.

I called then today, because I was told it would be shipping either last
Friday or today. Guess what...(Iknow, you've already gotten ahead of me,
right...) They said it is postponed until either the end of this week ot
beginning of next. The reason? They said they had problems with the
machine that copies the masters onto the individual discs.

You called the software store, or Tantrum?

I would beleive you (if Tantrum themselves told you this), but if
the info came from your local software store, then it's BS. Last
time I heard a software salesperson tell the truth was when he
said his store was going out of business. ;)

I wasn't sure if this was a "uh huh" because you knew it was a lie
from the salesperson, or if so because the info came from Tantrum.<g>

Our stock file at the store where I work now lists NHRA as an active
product (as opposed to new), which suggests to me that it is expected
to be shipped ... but indeed there could always be last-minute delays
from the manufacturer.

Grand Prix Legends isn't even in our stock file yet. Hmph. I want I
want I want I want... Haven't heard anything about a releast date
beyond "early August".

Rumor has it that GPL may go Gold by the end of this month...I guess
we'll see. =)

company who Tantrum is running the release through.

I called them today and they said maybe friday or early next week it will
ship from California ..You wont see it in the store's for at least 2 more
weeks I was told .... so order it in advance and they will ship it to you
UPS...
