I posted a .wav of a McLaren MP4 on an FTP site...
WUARCHIVE.WUSTL.EDU in the pub/msdos_uploads/sounds
directory. The file is named McLarenMP4.wav.

If anyone has any more of these, please netmail me! The one
above was great and I would like to get more.

Judging by the sound, I'd say that it is the McLaren-Ford MP4/8.
Very cool. Would love to get one of the Ferrari.

I too would like to know if there are any more F1 samples out there.
One question though: is the sound quality of the McLarenMP4.wav
sample supposed to be bad?  What are .wav files exactly.  I do not
have a PC and tried playing it on an Amiga as a raw sample file.
The high frequency background noise ruined it.  It sounded a bit
better after I had low pass filtered it about 20 times.  Do these
files need to be converted to read properly on amigas?
