Ok, here's a question that I've been saving about the Truxton circuit
until after the hot lap compo. I don't understand how come I'm so far
off the pace. I can lap just about flat out the entire time, slowing
only for turn 3 (right hander) and the chicane at the end, yet I'm 5
seconds off the pace!

Has anyone got any tips they'd care to share?

TIA (Hopefully),

Ross.

What is the pace? Try changing downforce settings (you don't need much
but watch out for chicane) and different gear ratios.

This week's winner at http://www.racesimcentral.net/ finished with a time of
1:02:81 in a Primera. Like the original poster I'm also five seconds off
the pace even with downforce/gear tweaking. Either I'm really ***
(likely) or they had figured out a way to bypass the chicane - the rest
of the course is virtually flat out.

Now to try and win 200 on Silverstone....

Agreed, I'm in the 1:07 range with a tweaked S40. It would be nice of
Codemasters to post a saved replay of a sub 1:03 lap. One might actually
learn something...

Ah, how come Silverstone is always the most entertaining circuit in
any game featuring it? Maybe because it actually _is_ the "best"
circuit out there?
