The F2 and F3 classes in GPL are beginning to be understood as fun
classes rather then "to slow for me" cars.  Ross MacGregor created a
F2F3.wav file that sounds fantastic.  To me it sounds like Formula
Fords.  To bad Papy didn't set the F2F3.wav files to be different for
each marquee like the F1 cars.

they didn't set the f1 cars to use different wav's either, not all of them
anyway, that's why nigel pattison's soundspatch is so damned good.

How many sounds are used for the other classes Mike?

In the F1 cars.. There are three distinct sounds from Papy.. Ferrari,
Lotus, and I think the BRM.

I'll have to download that sound patch to see if there by chance is a
way to change the individual F3 cars.

I ran my 1st F2 race on VROC over the weekend, and must agree about the
fun factor. Very ***ing! Do you have a link to this wav file?

Don't F2 and F3 cars use the same engine regardless of chassis type?
IMO, it would be normal then for them to sound the same.

In Formula 2 in '67 Brabham, Lotus, Matra, Cooper and Lola used the Cosworth
FVA engine, with other Lola's using a BMW engine. Both of these sound great
in real life, and it would be fantastic if somebody could recreate that
distinctive scream.
