Let the Patching Begin (MGPRS2)

UBI seems to be starting with their patches for MGPRS2 already.  Unfortunately
it seems to be only to fix some graphical glitches (Voodoo2 and DirectX) and
problems with the Cyrix processor.  No mention on their site of any other
possible fixes with the patch.

Also, there finally is an English version of their homepage as well now.

Let the Patching Begin (MGPRS2)

As unbelievable as it seems, it looks for sure like Ubi Soft used F1RS 1.00
as the platform for MGPRS2 instead of v 1.09.

What that means is that there are a litany of problems, many sound related,
that plague MGPRS2 that were already fixed by patches for F1RS. The 1.02
patch for MGPRS2 fixes none of the playability bugs, none of the sound bugs,
and who know what else it does NOT fix.  It claims to fix Cyrix problems and
Voodoo 2 problems (I wouldn't know on either account).

So it looks like we'll have to sit for months waiting for the 10th or 20th
patch to get this over-sized patch of F1RS up to the level of F1RS
1.09....where any sane person would have presumed we were starting from!

Marc.

Someone please prove me wrong!!!!!!!!
