% I made the foolish mistake this evening, shortly before launching into
% an intermediate long race at Rouen, of posting "So who's gonna go the
% distance?". Turns out Mr. Carver and myself were the only ones left
% after about three laps, and we had quite a race going. However, I soon
% had troubles staying on the track. I fell behind and with about three
% laps to go, the server dumped me. Just so's you know (for some inane
% reason this is important to me), I didn't bail, I always race to the
% end, I would have been happy to just avoid being lapped. Incidentally,
% I wish I could have given you a better race, it was quite good while we
% were neck and neck. Maybe next time.
We both got dumped :( I think the server froze. I too had a great
time, there for awhile we were pretty evenly matched (you were a tad
faster, but I was a tad more consistent). Was a great race (even if it
was just the 2 of us for a Long Race). At least we didn't have jhonjhon
(aka M. Buli) on the track. He was ruining races left and right
yesterday afternoon and was being obnoxious as hell in VROC chat until I
booted him from chat.
