I have been playing around with the *.dat files in NASCAR2. I have unpacked
some of the *.dat files for the tracks and found numerous other files. The
files included ar *.MI4, *.MIP, and *.3DO. Could someone please tell me what
each of these files are and what program I would need to edit them. Any help
someone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

The 3DO files are the 3D polygon models upon which some of MIP and MI4
textures are mapped.

There is One groupf of files that "paints" wheels and tirs for N2.
Changing/painting them a different colour would render ALL the cars'
wheels'/tires the same colour!
