I need some expert help. I'm having MAJOR browser trouble. My IE 4.0 gives
me "illegal operation" errors when trying to open a website containing java,
such as janescombat.net, and my Netscape refuses to load pages at all. it
just says "document done" at the bottom of the page. as far as I can tell in
IE I have all the java stuff enabled. please help me out here. I cant even
run on VROC anymore, and I got Janes WW2 fighters, and I'd really like to
fly online.

Tony,

IE 4 doesn't comply with some of the java standards (hence the reason u
can't use it for VROC). Some newer java applets (VROC incl) will only run on
the latest version of Netscape Navigator (I have 4.08) & VROC is just fine.

MSIE is about as Anti-Java as it can be. It is useless on sites that
use Java extensively, and you need to have Netscape istalled to get
around the problem...

I'm glad MS finally lost on this issue...
