Sega has the exclusive rights to the Daytona name. That means that if you
have NASCAR 2, you can't have Daytona. How hard is that to understand? If
the lawyers called about the track edited version of Daytona for The Pits,
why would Sierra jeopardize the licensing agreement with NASCAR trying to
find a loophole to release Daytona or a clone? Sega Daytona sucks, it does
not represent Daytona in a realistic manner and I'm upset that I can't use
it in NASCAR 2 but that's life, I've still got Talladega. I can't beleive
that people are still talking about a Daytona patch, it's got to be one of
the most annoying longest running threads I've seen. If were all going to
pretend we are real racers lets try to behave like *REAL RACERS* and stop
*WHINING* <G> Let's just enjoy the game and be glad that we have it.
