GPL--Thanks for the LWFF bid site

Well I got one of those Logitech wheels on the auction site.  I know
it was reconditioned, but I've been using a Rebuilt TM wheel for the
last year so I figure a repaired job is sometimes better than an
assembly line.
I think it was Ed Bain who first mentioned the site.,,,well whomever..
thanks...Big difference.  I even tried the F1 GPL cars after a couple of
months cowering in the F3 ranks.  :)  I could never safely toss the car
with the old T2 but after about 15 minutes I was banzaiing like sideways
was natural for me.
I tend to overdrive sims and the force feedback seems to tone that
down.  I entered braking zones slightly out of shape which with the T2
meant certain spin, but a tap of that split axis brake and the car
settled right down.  Thats been the problem, once I got unsettled, there
was almost no way to recover.
Now I'm still nowhere near polished yet, but I've already started
taking big hunks off my personal bests.
So whomever pointed me towards that site..Thanks!

ps.  Did an offline race at Monza, spun at the Parabolica and while
trying to back out onto the track the car quit...I went to the replay
and as I started backing a nice quick black puff of smoke popped out of
the engine...I've never been so pleased about a burnt piston before...
                   :)

I checked back at the aution site,  the url was dead so I assume they
sold the only couple they had.  the site is

onsale.com
they have new and used stuff, at cost or auction prices.
GP500 was about $25 US  I seem to remember.

I have heard some getting the LWFF for almost the same price through
Buy.com   You might want to check there also, these on auction were
re-conditioned.  My experience with my Thrustmaster T2 that I sent in
for a rebuild, was that the rebuilt wheel was a better lasting unit than
the assembly line item in the box so I'm not too worried about that.
