I finally got around to downloading the 2 movie files. On High Gear's site,
it says a release date of 01/12/00. On EB, it says 02/16/00. Anyway, the
movies looked pretty cool. Just wondering if anybody has heard of any info
on this game.

German magazines have already published reviews on it. The best ratings are
at 74%. They all complain about oversensitive and unprecise steering with
joysticks or wheels and say that the best way to play it is with the
keyboard!!!
You can race a championship on 9 tracks and the 24 hours of Le Mans.

Sounds not too promising for me, but then... they also said that the
steering in TOCA2 was too sensitive, well it was for me too.. half year
ago... now I think it's pretty o.k. OTOH, the steering in Infograme's F1
game was really everything but precise...

Don't know if I can resist though, the cars look really awesome (except for
the non-see-through windows). Hope they release a playable demo soon.

Apparently the January release date is for Europe and the February date is
for USA, with the name being a Test Drive series title in USA. I have the
game on order from UK since the 27th of Dec, hope to get it next week.

I was in Electronic Boutique in Cardiff on Saturday and the assistant told
me it was due on 21/01/00. I have the PC Format review and it seems to rate
it very highly.

have been looking for a mail order retailer, but none seem to have the
game listed yet.

I ordered it from www.gameplay.com but I think the damn thing has been
delayed...again, maybe they are fixing things. I am hearing middle of
February now, which is close to the US release, unless they delay that as
well. I will post something when I finally get it.

Thanks Jack. I searched around a bit more, and managed to find the
game at http://ukgames.com. I placed an order through them, as they
already have the game in stock. I tried going through a few other
retailers, but they all had the game listed as due out in February.
Hope this helps you out.
