GP3 - Turning off Steering Help....

by Tom Cosgrav » Sat, 29 Jul 2000 04:00:00

Hi folks,

Got GP3 today!

My one gripe is my inability to turn off steering help! I'm running at Ace
level, have turned it off in the config screens, but it's still on the game!
Apparently you can switch it off using the F8 key, which I tried, but no
luck!

It's driving me nuts!

Anyone able to set me right?

Make sure its switched off in the steering setup (control setup) screen,
GP3, like GP2 uses two sets of steering help.

There is a slider in the control config screen that you need to set to 0%
I think it's called steering help.  Took me a while to find too =)

No wonder I couldn't see it. It's greyed out (ie, you can't change the
setting) unless you have a wheel or a joystick.

That sucks!
Is there any way I can turn it off for driving using the keyboard?

Cheers,
Tom

Just like GP2....  you will have to wait for a hack to come out from a
3rd party....
